Henry Evan Burroughs, a resident of Oregon, and Kristen Sheppard are filing suit against Susan Joseph, d/b/a, Gimmies, for declaratory judgment of non-infringement on Joseph's hand-painted canvases. The suit alleges the parties had an agreement where plaintiff would display defendant's hand painted canvases on his canvas stretcher bars at trade shows. Joseph personally viewed plaintiff's trade show displays and appreciated the exposure for her work, but suddenly, a year after the agreement, she approached plaintiffs at a trade show yelling profanity and stating she planned to sue for copyright infringement.  Price: $10

Safety cards copied from cards bought on eBay, alleges suit.
Cabin Safety International is suing Primaris Airlines of Nevada and Venezuela-based Santa Barbara Airlines, seeking injunctive relief and damages for copyright infringement by copying, reproducing, and public display of Cabin Safety's copyrighted aircraft safety passenger briefing cards. Primaris Airlines contracted Cabin Safety to produce cards for its Boeing 757-200. Several months later Cabin Safety purchased a Santa Barbara Airlines Boeing 757-200 safety card from eBay. The Safety card was a substantial copy of plaintiff's safety guide used for Primaris.  Price: $10
