Kansas resident G.B. is filing suit against Liberal School District, Liberal Amateur Wrestling Club, and the United States of America Wrestling Association, et al., alleging he was assaulted by Johnny Aubrey, his wrestling coach. Cary Claar is filing suit against the Archdiocese of Omaha, Nebraska for negligence, negligent hiring, supervision, and retention, and other claims. Oregon resident David Doe is filing suit against The Corporation of the Presiding Bishop of the Church of Latter-Day Saints, et al., alleging plaintiff, a twelve-year-old, was sexually abused and molested by a "special mentor" provided by the church to plaintiff and his family. The suit seeks to recover compensatory damages for physical, psychological, and emotional trauma sustained as a result of defendant's negligent handling and covering up of the abuse. John Nunnery is filing suit against Salesian Missions, t/a, Don Bosco Preparatory High School, et al., alleging Nunnery was sexually abused by Father Director, Frank Nugent, during his freshman and sophomore years at the New Jersey high school, between 1975-77. Rob Rinde, fka, Larry Pistor, Jr., is filing suit against the Corporation of the President of the Church of Latter-Day Saints, alleging civil conspiracy, fraudulent concealment and other claims. At age twelve, Pistor was severely abused and victimized by his scoutmaster, a Melchesidek priest, Paul Lewis. During one incident of abuse, Lewis forced a wire hangar up plaintiff's urethra, causing him to suffer permanent injuries to his urogenital system. Two years after the abuse began, Pistor told his mother and alerted authorities, but church officials pressured Pistor and his family and sabotaged meetings with victim's advocates, so that charges eventually were not filed and Lewis was allowed to move on to another state, and continue working for the church and abusing children. The suit alleges that while plaintiffs were incarcerated in the Franklin County Jail, during the spring and summer of 2005, they were subjected to physical and sexually abuse by inmates and law enforcement personnel. Sheriff Haynes allegedly promoted inmate Bauswell to the position of “trustee,” giving his free reign over the jail. Female inmates were given food, soda, drugs, and alcohol by jail officials in exchange for pornographic pictures and sex. Price: $10
